In 1st Corinthians 15:3-4 the gospel is given as succinctly as possible. |
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

This early church creed provides the basics you need to know about Jesus. Take this moment to pause and ponder................If you believe that Christ died for your sin, that he was crucified and buried, and that he rose from the dead on the third day with a heartfelt conviction--God has revealed Himself to you and has saved you through the finished work of Jesus. There is nothing more you need to do, except to mature in Christ. |
